TK through 5th-grade painting compositions created using tempera paint, water, fingers, and brushes.
Project: Experimenting with Tempera Paint (TK – 5th)
Students were allowed to create tempera paintings on any subject or in any style they liked. They were free to choose colors, patterns, lines, space, and shapes to experiment with to paint their paintings. Paint brushes and sponges were provided for students to select from to create their unique compositions, patterns, and textures.
The inspiration for this project was the students themselves. They never cease to amaze me. They are so highly imaginative and creative. Emphasis was placed on students to just use their unique creative style, experiment, and have fun!
