Project: Using color, patterns, and designs to see through our Kaleidoscopes with 1st and 2nd graders
Students were able to play with a Kaleidoscope at the start of the project. Students received a circular paper shape, markers, and colored pencils to create their patterns and designs in any color or patterns they desired. The circles were then attached to the completed Kaleidoscopes for the students to learn about light, reflection, and symmetry.
Fun and meditative paper toy that combines creativity with science. Emphasis was placed on the students to use their unique creative style.
