Project: Painting with Watercolor with TK through 2nd graders
Students were allowed to create watercolor paintings using any subject or style of their liking. They were free to choose colors, patterns, lines, space, and shapes to experiment with to paint their paintings. Paint brushes, cotton swabs, and sponges were provided for the students to create their unique patterns and textures. Book Marks were also created for Children's Book Week.
The inspiration for this project was the students themselves. They never cease to amaze me. They are so highly imaginative and creative. Emphasis was placed on the students to use their unique creative style.
