Project: Pen and ink drawings combined with watercolor
In both paintings, the main subjects were drawn using a fountain pen with permanent ink. The painting "Two dolphins in a sea of green and blue" was created by overlaying the pen and ink drawing over a watercolor background created on a Gelli Press. The background for "Mohawk on his lookout perch in the plum tree" was created using just a wash of watercolor. The joy in creating is experimentation. You never know what you may learn and find.
